Front, Link And Coil: ARTICULINK: Installation

NOTE:
DISCARD the nuts and bolts and do not reuse. NEW nuts and bolts should be used when replacing or servicing the control arms.
- Position the articulink to the axle and to the control arm.
- Install a NEW articulink to axle bolt (2) and a NEW nut, but do not tighten at this time.
- Install a NEW articulink to control arm bolt (1) and a NEW nut, but do not tighten at this time.
- Remove jack stand from axle.
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.NOTE:
Suspension components with rubber/urethane bushings must be tightened with the vehicle at normal ride height. It is important to have the springs supporting the weight of the vehicle when the fasteners are torqued. If springs are not at their normal ride position, vehicle ride comfort could be affected and premature bushing wear may occur.
- Tighten the articulink to control arm nut to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, LINK AND COIL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the articulink to axle bolt (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, LINK AND COIL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
