Control Unit, Winch: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable (3).

  2. Remove the winch assembly (2). Refer to WINCH, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the three screws (2) and remove the control unit cover (1).

  4. Remove the nut and disconnect the red battery positive cable (1).

    NOTE:

    Solenoid #4 shown in the illustration, all others similar.

  5. Remove the control wire nuts (1) and disconnect the control wires (2) from each solenoid.
