Rear Doors: Installation

- Carefully position the door studs (2) onto the hinges and support the door with a suitable lifting device.
- Loosely install the nuts (3) and secure the door to the hinges.
- Align the door to the hinges using the reference marks made during the removal procedure
- Tighten the nuts to 22 N.m (16 ft. lbs.) using the following sequence;
- Tighten the upper nut of the top hinge.
- Tighten the lower nut of the bottom hinge.
- Tighten the upper nut of the bottom hinge.
- Tighten the lower nut of the top hinge.
- Connect the door wire harness to the body wire harness.
- Install the grommet over the connector and seat the connector into the A-pillar fully.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
- If necessary, adjust the door. Refer to DOOR, REAR, ADJUSTMENTS .
