  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the steering damper mounting bolts (2) at the linkage brackets and remove the steering damper (1).
  3. Remove the four mounting bracket bolts (3) and remove the brackets.
