Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
NOTE:
Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active DTC's.
  Is the DTC active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the U0141-Lost Communication with IPM (FCM/TIPM) diagnostic procedure. Refer to U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) .
  No
  - Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTC's diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTC's .
