6.7L Diesel Engine

- Disconnect battery negative cables.
- Drain cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect ambient air temp sensor electrical connector and mass airflow sensor electrical connector (if equipped).
- Remove turbocharger inlet tube and air filter housing. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL, 6.7L .
- Remove generator assembly. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .
- Remove water pump mounting bolts (1).
- Remove O-ring from water pump (2).
- Remove water pump (2). Clean water pump sealing surface on cylinder block.
