6.7L Diesel Engine

- Install new O-ring seal (1) in groove (2) on water pump (3).
1 - BOLT 2 - WATER PUMP - Install water pump (2) with the weep hole facing downward. Tighten mounting bolts (1) to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.) torque.
- Install generator assembly. Refer to GENERATOR, INSTALLATION .
- Install accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Install air box and tube assembly. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
- Install air filter housing. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
- Evacuate air and refill cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect both battery cables.
- Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks. Refer to LEAK TESTING .
