When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

Common Conditions:
- TCM supply voltage is between 10 and 16 volts.
- Ignition switch RUN position signal is detected via dedicated circuit to TCM.
- Engine speed (CAN message) is greater than or equal to 550 RPM.
- The above conditions are met within 10 seconds.
Condition 1:
- There are no ignition switch related DTCs set.
- There are no CAN bus or CAN message DTCs set between the TCM and PCM.
Condition 2:
- The Transmission Range Switch (TRS) is in drive or reverse.
- The output shaft speed is greater than 1, 000 RPM.
- The input (turbine) speed is greater than 550 RPM.
