Unit, Diesel Exhaust Fluid Dosing Control: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate both of the negative battery cables.
  2. Remove the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank (3). Refer to TANK, DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the body side DEF dosing control unit wire harness connector (2).
  4. Disconnect the DEF pump wire harness connector (1).

  5. Remove bolt (2) and the DEF dosing control unit (1) from tank (3).
