Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC NOTE:
Diagnose any Communication DTCs before continuing.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
Is the DTC active or pending?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- LIN BUS OR CAN BUS DTCS SET IN THE BODY CONTROL MODULE
Are there any LIN Bus or CAN Bus DTCs set in the Body Control Module?
Yes
- Diagnose the appropriate DTC in the Body Control Module before continuing. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 1500 .
No
- Replace the Switch Bank in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
