Diagnostic Test

CHECKING FOR OTHER PCM DTCS

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the PCM DTCs.
Are there any other DPF, PM Sensor, EGR, FRP, Injector, or O2 Sensor DTCs present?

Yes
- Perform the Diagnostics for those DTCs before continuing with this one.
- Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information. Refer to DIESEL, PCM REMOVAL .
- Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
