Tube, Fuel Tank Filler: Installation: Installation

  1. Position and install the fuel tank vapor line (2) onto fuel tank and securely tighten the clamp (4).
  2. Install the fuel filler hose (5) and securely tighten the clamp (3).

  3. Install the fuel filler tube ground wire (1) and tighten the nut (2) 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.).

  4. Connect the DEF fill tube (1) and vent tube (2) quick-connect fitting.

  5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the fuel filler/DEF fill tube screws (2) and securely tighten.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8. Start the engine and check for leaks.
