- Install caliper (6) to the caliper adapter (1).
- Coat the caliper mounting slide pin bolts (3) with silicone grease. Then install and tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).CAUTION:
Verify that the brake hose is not twisted or kinked before tightening the fitting bolt.
- Install the brake hose (4) to the caliper (6) with new seal washers and tighten fitting bolt to 27 N.m (245 in. lbs.).
- Remove the prop rod from the brake pedal.
- Bleed the area of repair for the brake system, If a proper pedal is not felt during bleeding an area of repair then a base bleed system must be performed. . Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE . .
- Install the wheel and tire assemblies. Refer to WHEELS, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
- Verify a firm pedal before moving the vehicle.
