Theory Of Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2015 RAM 3500 HD and 2015 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Body Control Module (BCM) receives the input from the headlamp switch requesting park lamp illumination. The BCM provides a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) voltage output through the Front Right Side Marker control circuit. The control circuit connects to the LED Park Lamps and Right Front Side Marker Lamp. A ground path for the lamps is present through the harness to the body sheet metal. For additional information on the Park Lamps operation, refer to OPERATION .
