Housing, Transmission, Rear Extension: Removal: Removal

  1. Remove the rear drive shaft. Refer to SHAFT, DRIVE, REAR LIGHT DUTY, REMOVAL or SHAFT, DRIVE, REAR HEAVY DUTY, REMOVAL .

  2. Remove extension housing bolts (2).
  3. Remove extension housing (1) from the transmission (3).
