Housing, Transmission, Rear Extension: Installation: Installation

- Apply a bead of RTV silicone to the extension housing.
- Install the extension housing (1) on the transmission (3).
- Install the extension housing bolts (2) and tighten to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
- Install rear drive shaft. Refer to SHAFT, DRIVE, REAR LIGHT DUTY, INSTALLATION or SHAFT, DRIVE, REAR HEAVY DUTY, INSTALLATION .
