Module, Keyless Ignition Node: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .

  3. Reach behind the ignition and disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector (1).

  4. Remove four (1) ignition retaining screws.
  5. Remove the ignition from the vehicle.
