Section 893 (Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information) - 2500 Hd & 3500 Hd): Amplifier: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the steering column cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .
- Loosen the two amplifier (1) mounting screws (2).
- Remove the amplifier (2) mounting bracket screw (1).
- Disconnect the two amplifier (1) electrical connectors (2).
- Pull the amplifier towards the rear of the vehicle to remove.
- Remove the amplifier mounting bracket from the amplifier.
