5.7L Y-Pipe

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Unplug the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors. Swap over the sensors as necessary.

Remove and discard the exhaust pipe to manifold bolts (1) and nuts.
Remove the exhaust extension pipe from the Y-pipe (2). Refer to PIPE, EXHAUST EXTENSION, REMOVAL .
Carefully remove the Y-pipe from above the crossmember (3).
