Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

Attempt to crank the engine, leaving the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
Is the DTC active or pending?

Yes
- Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 1500 article and perform the appropriate Starter Relay 2 diagnostic procedure.
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
