Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs in the BCM.
- Cycle the ignition on and off several times, leaving the ignition on for at least 20 seconds during each ignition cycle.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs in the BCM.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 1500 article and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
