Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR BCM CAN BUS DTCS
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
Are any BCM CAN BUS DTCs present?
Yes
- Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 1500 article and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Perform the diagnostic procedure for DTC U0001-CAN C BUS first if the fault is present.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Go To 2
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
- CHECK IF OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL (ORC) MODULE DTCS ARE PRESENT
- With the scan tool, read ORC DTCs.
Are any ORC DTCs present?
Yes
- Refer to OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 1500 article and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
- With the scan tool, read ORC DTCs.
