Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
If DTCs P00F4 or P00F5 are present, perform the Diagnostics for those DTCs before continuing with this one.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record all Freeze frame data.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Turn the ignition off for 75 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition on.
6. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Did the DTC reset?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT DTC .
MAF/INTAKE AIR SENSOR
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Replace the MAF/Intake Air Sensor in accordance with the service information. Refer to SENSOR, MASS AIRFLOW (MAF), REMOVAL .
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. With the scan tool, erase PCM DTCs.
5. Perform several ignition key cycles leaving the ignition on for at least 10 seconds per cycle.
6. Start the engine and let it run for two minutes.
7. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display this DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Powertrain Control Module in accordance with the service information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, REMOVAL .
  - Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Test complete.
  - Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
