3.0L Diesel

  1. Position the starter and install the mounting retainers.

    Tighten to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).

  2. Connect the solenoid connector (1)
  3. Install the B+ cable to starter solenoid stud.

    Tighten to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).

  4. Attach the cable harness retainer.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
