Jet, Timing Chain Oil: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Right side shown, left side similar.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper timing cover. Refer to COVER(S), ENGINE TIMING, REMOVAL  .
  3. Remove the bolt (1) and the timing chain oil jet (2).
  4. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
