Section 751 (Body - Interior & Exterior - 1500): Weatherstrip/Seals: Caution: Caution

Some body mounted weatherstips are sealed to the body using a white mastic compound.
CAUTION:
Door and Liftgate weatherstrip seals that use a white mastic sealant must be replaced with a new weatherstrip and any mastic must be cleaned from attachment flanges whenever the weatherstrip is removed.
