The Body Control Module (BCM) reports the Auxiliary Fuel Tank level to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) over the CAN Bus. The PCM determines there is no change in Fuel Level Sensor 2 circuit voltage after a significant amount of fuel should have been consumed based on a calculated value and the vehicle operating conditions.
