Diagnostic Test

- DTC IS ACTIVE NOTE:
If P2633, P2634, or P2636 DTCs are present, perform the Diagnostics for those DTCs before continuing with this one.
NOTE:If P2066, P2067, or P2068 DTCs are present, perform the Diagnostics for those DTCs before continuing with this one.
- Ignition on, engine not running.
- With the scan tool, clear DTCs in the PCM.
- Monitor the scan tool for at least two minutes.
- With the scan tool, select View DTCs.
Is the status Active for this DTC?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT DTC diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION - 6.7L .
- CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS
- Turn the ignition off.
- Visually inspect the transfer hose between the Auxiliary Fuel Tank and the Main Fuel Tank for leaks
Were any leaks found?
Yes
- Repair as necessary.
- Perform he POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L .
No
- Go To 3
- POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER
- Turn the ignition off.
- Replace the Power Distribution Center in accordance with the service information.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, erase PCM DTCs.
- Perform several ignition key cycles leaving the ignition on for at least 10 seconds per cycle.
- Start the engine and let it run for two minutes.
- With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC?
Yes
- Replace the Powertrain Control Module in accordance with the service information. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Perform he POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L .
No
- Test complete.
- Perform he POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L .
