Diagnostic Test

- INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE MODULE (ITBM) INTERNAL CONDITION
- The ITBM is reporting internal errors.NOTE:
Before continuing, check the ITBM harness connector terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Repair as necessary.
- Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the wire harness and connectors. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits.
- Perform any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply.
Were there any problems found?
Yes
- Repair as necessary.
- Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - ITBM VERIFICATION TEST and perform the ITBM VERIFICATION TEST.
No
- Replace the Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM) in accordance with the Service Information.
- Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - ITBM VERIFICATION TEST and perform the ITBM VERIFICATION TEST.
- The ITBM is reporting internal errors.
