When Monitored And Set Conditions

When Monitored:

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

Engine running.
Controller voltage between 9.0 and 16.0 volts
Heated Steering Wheel output is turned on.

Set Conditions:

Module detects on the Heated Steering Wheel Feed circuit a voltage below 1.5 volts for more than two seconds.

Default Actions:

When the Heated Steering Wheel is turned on, the ON indicator comes on for 2.0 seconds and then turns off.
Heated Steering Wheel output is turned off.

Possible Causes
HEATED STEERING WHEEL FEED CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
HEATED STEERING WHEEL FEED CIRCUIT SHORTED TO THE HEATED STEERING WHEEL RETURN CIRCUIT
HEATED STEERING WHEEL (HSW)
STEERING COLUMN CONTROL MODULE (SCCM)
HEATED SEAT MODULE (HSM)
