Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR SCM DTCS

With the scan tool, read SCM DTCs.
Are any SCM DTCs present?

Yes
- Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
- Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Using the schematics as a guide, check the Transmission Control Module Assembly (TCMA) terminals for corrosion, damage or terminal push out. If no problems are found, replace and program the TCMA in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, TRANSMISSION CONTROL .
- Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
