Diagnostic Test

VERIFY ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and battery Voltage is between 10 and 16 Volts before proceeding.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read ORC DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display active U0001-00-CAN C BUS - DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to U0001-CAN C BUS for 1500, 2500 & 3500 or U0001-CAN C BUS CIRCUIT for 3500 CAB & CHASSIS, 4500 & 5500, and perform the U0001-Can C Bus diagnostic procedure. .
  No
  - Perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS for 1500, 2500 &3500, or STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS for 3500 Cab & Chassis, 4500 &5500, diagnostic procedure .
