Bracket, Caliper Mounting: Installation: Installation

1 - CALIPER ADAPTER MOUNT

2 - AXLE TUBE

3 - MOUNTING STUDS

Install the caliper adapter mount (1) on the axle housing (2).
Install support plate on axle flange. Tighten attaching nuts (3) to 102 N.m (75 ft. lbs.).
Install parking brake cable in the brake lever.
Install the park brake shoes. Refer to SHOES, PARKING BRAKE, INSTALLATION .
Install axle shaft, refer to INSTALLATION .
Adjust brake shoes to drum with brake gauge. Refer to SHOES, PARKING BRAKE, ADJUSTMENTS .
Install the rotor. Refer to ROTOR, BRAKE, INSTALLATION .
Install the caliper adapter. Refer to ADAPTER, DISC BRAKE CALIPER, INSTALLATION .
Install the caliper. Refer to CALIPER, DISC BRAKE, INSTALLATION .
Install wheel and tire assembly. Refer to WHEELS, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
