Set Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Dodge Avenger and 2013 Chrysler 200. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

This code will set, if the ORC and the Left Side Impact Sensor 1 do not establish and maintain valid data communications. Due to the wiring strategy of the side impact sensors on this vehicle, DTCs U0172 and U0173 will likely be set simultaneously. This procedure diagnosis the possible failures for both DTCs.
