2500 - 3500 Heavy Duty

  1. Remove the transfer case skid plate(2), if equipped. Refer to PLATE, Skid, Front , Removal PLATE, Skid, Transfer Case , Removal .

  2. Remove the nuts (3) fastening the transmission mount (1) to the transmission crossmember (2).

  3. Support the transmission with a transmission jack or suitable lifting device.
  4. Remove the four bolts (1) and nuts (3) and remove the transmission crossmember (2).
