Sensor, Wheel Speed, Rear: Removal: Front-Wheel-Drive

- Move aside the luggage compartment carpet as necessary to access the wheel speed sensor cable connector.
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor cable connector (1) at the body wiring harness connector (2).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the rear tire and wheel assembly (1).
- Remove the grommet (2) from the hole in the body (1) and pull the wheel speed sensor cable out through the hole.
- Remove the speed sensor cable routing clip (3) from the outside frame rail.
- Remove the screw (4) fastening the cable routing clamp (5) to the rear suspension crossmember (6).
- Remove the speed sensor cable routing clips (4) from the trailing link.
- Remove the screw fastening the cable routing clamp to the trailing link.
- Remove the screw (1) fastening the wheel speed sensor (2) head in the rear of the hub and bearing. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.
