Convertible Top

NOTE:
The hydraulic system uses ARAL VITAMOL ZH-M fluid. When replacing components or topping off system due to leak, make sure to use only approved fluid. When adding fluid. Refer to ASSEMBLY, HYDRAULIC, MOTOR AND PUMP, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Retract the top completely into the trunk.
- Remove the quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL .
- Place the decklid in the reverse position.
- Remove the clip retainer (2) from the cylinder (4) end attachment.
- Remove the clip retainer from the rod end attachment.
- At the hydraulic cylinder (3), slide the retaining clamp (2) off and pull out line (1).
- Remove the hall effect on the left cylinder. Refer to SWITCH, POWER TOP, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, CLOSED POSITION, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, DECK BAR CYLINDER POSITION, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, DECKLID LATCH LIMIT, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, HARD TOP PANEL LATCHED, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, HARD TOP PANEL UNLATCHED, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, HEADER LATCHED, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, HEADER UNLATCHED, REMOVAL , SWITCH, POWER TOP, LUGGAGE PROTECTOR POSITION, REMOVAL and/or SWITCH, POWER TOP, STACK CYLINDER POSITION, REMOVAL .
- Separate the cylinder from vehicle.
