Diesel-Right Side

  1. Remove the battery from the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVAL .
  2. Disconnect the wire harness retainers and remove relays from the battery tray.

  3. Remove two nuts (2), and the air heater jumper wire (1, 3).
  4. Remove the two fuel heater relay wires (4).
  5. Detach the wire harness retainer (5) from solenoid body.

  6. Remove the right front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the two lower bolts (1) securing battery tray.

  8. Remove bolts (1, 2) the battery tray (3) from the vehicle.
