Pump, Engine Oil: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect both battery negative cables.
  2. Remove the engine timing cover. Refer to COVER(S), ENGINE TIMING, REMOVAL, 6.7L .
  3. Remove the four mounting bolts (2) and pull the oil pump (1) from the bore in the cylinder block.
