- Position Ball Joint Remover/Installer (special tool #8975-1, Installer, Ball Joint) (DRIVER) (2) and Ball Joint Remover/Installer (special tool #8975-3, Cup, Remover) (RECEIVER) (5) with Ball Joint Press (special tool #C-4212F, Press, Ball Joint) (1) as shown in illustration to install lower ball stud (3).
- Install the axle shaft into the axle, go to INSTALLATION .
- Install the steering knuckle. Refer to KNUCKLE, STEERING, INSTALLATION .
