Possible Causes

Possible Causes 
5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT OPEN
5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
CMP SENSOR SIGNAL 1/1 CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
CMP SENSOR SIGNAL 1/1 CIRCUIT OPEN
CMP SENSOR SIGNAL 1/1 CIRCUIT SHORTED GROUND
SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
INCORRECT OIL / LOW OIL LEVEL OR PRESSURE
CAM PHASER ISSUES
MECHANICAL ISSUES RELATED TO THE CAMSHAFTS/CAMSHAFT SPROCKETS/TIMING CHAINS
CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)
