Tubes And Hoses, Transmission Oil Cooler: Installation

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ) .
  2. Place the transmission cooler lines in place.
  3. Connect the transmission cooler lines (1) to the transmission heater (2) (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ) .

  4. Place the Manual Park Release (MPR) cable (2) and install the retaining fastener (1).

  5. Install the fastener (1) retaining the transmission cooler lines (2) to the transmission.

  6. Install the fastener (1) retaining the transmission cooler lines (2) to the transmission bellhousing.

  7. Install the retainer (1) supporting the transmission cooler lines (2) to the engine block.

  8. Lower vehicle on hoist.
  9. Connect the transmission cooler lines (1) to the transmission cooler (2) (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ) .

  10. Raise vehicle on hoist
  11. If 4WD, Install the front differential (Refer to INSTALLATION )
  12. Install the steering rack (Refer to GEAR, INDEPENDENT FRONT SUSPENSION ) .
  13. Install the front skid plate (Refer to PLATE, SKID, FRONT ) .
  14. Install the front tire and wheel assemblies (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
  15. Connect the negative battery cable(s).
  16. Fill the transmission to the proper transmission fluid level with the specified fluid (Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS .
  17. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
