Sensor, Manifold Air Pressure (Map): Removal: 3.6L

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air intake resonator assembly. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .

  3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the MAP sensor.

  4. Rotate the MAP sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull the sensor straight up and out of the upper intake manifold.

  5. The MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
