SEAL, Crankshaft Oil, Front: Installation: Installation

CAUTION:
To prevent severe damage to the Crankshaft, Damper or Special Tool (special tool #8512A, Installer, Damper), thoroughly clean the damper bore and the crankshaft nose before installing Damper.
- Using Seal Installer (special tool #8348, Installer, Seal) and Damper Installer (special tool #8512A, Installer, Damper) (2,3), install crankshaft front seal.
- Install vibration damper. Refer to DAMPER, Vibration , Installation , 3.7L .
- Install radiator cooling fan and shroud. Refer to FAN, Cooling, Electric , Installation and FAN, Cooling, Viscous , Installation .
- Install upper radiator hose.
- Install A/C compressor and tighten fasteners to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
- Install accessory drive belt refer. Refer to BELT, Serpentine , Installation .
- Refill cooling system. Refer to Standard Procedure .
- Connect negative cable to battery.
