Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

Move the vehicle to a cooler location until the vehicle interior is no warmer than the ambient temperature.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order, then erase DTCs.
Turn the radio and EDM on, and wait at least 90 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC return?

Yes
- Replace the External Disc Module (EDM) in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test Complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
