Door Lock Inhibit

For Keyless Go and Passive Entry equipped vehicles, the doors will self-unlock after closing the door, and the horn will chirp 3 times, if a FOBIK is detected inside the vehicle (FOBIK safe feature) during an interior lock switch lock attempt with any door ajar. The FOBIK safe unlock can occur up to two times in the same ignition cycle, giving the driver two warnings that the FOBIK is inside the vehicle. On the third interior lock switch lock attempt with door ajar, and a FOBIK inside the vehicle, the doors will lock and stay locked. In this case, the doors can only be unlocked with the physical metal cut key (originally stored in a slot inside the FOBIK), or with another FOBIK (up to 8 total) learned to the Radio Frequency Hub (RFH).
