Cylinder Head Cover

  1. Disconnect and isolate both negative battery cables.
  2. Remove the engine oil dipstick (2).
  3. Remove the bolts (1) and the engine cover (3).

  4. Disconnect the crankcase pressure sensor 1 wire harness connector (7).

  5. Disconnect the crankcase pressure sensor 2 wire harness connector (1).

  6. Remove the Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) cover and crankcase breather. Refer to SYSTEM, CLOSED CRANKCASE VENTILATION (CCV), REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the two CCV drains tubes (3) from cylinder head cover.

  8. Remove the bolts (1) and the cylinder head cover (2).

  9. If necessary, disconnect both of the fuel injector wire harness connectors (1).

  10. If necessary, loosen the fuel injector wire harness nuts (1) on the cylinder head cover gasket (2).
  11. If necessary, remove the cylinder head cover gasket (2).
