Rocker Housing

  1. Clean all the gasket sealing surfaces. Refer to ENGINE GASKET SURFACE PREPARATION  .
  2. Install the rocker housing gasket (2) in groove.
    CAUTION:

    When installing rocker housing onto cylinder head, do not slide housing from side to side, The gasket could fall out or be damaged.

  3. Install the rocker housing (1) and tighten the bolts (9) finger tight. Working from center out, tighten bolts (9) to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
  4. Install the cylinder head cover. Refer to COVER(S), CYLINDER HEAD, INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
