Diagnostic Test

Check For Technical Service Bulletin Or Software Update
1. Check For Any Applicable Technical Service Bulletins (Tsb).
2. Check For Any Applicable PCM Software Updates.
  Are There Any Tsbs Or PCM Software Updates That Address This DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Perform The Appropriate Repair Outlined In The Tsb.
  - If There Is A Software Update, Use The Scan Tool To Reflash The PCM With The Latest Calibration.
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Replace The Powertrain Control Module In Accordance With The Service Information.
  - Perform The POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer To INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
Powertrain Control Module
1. Run The Engine For One Minute And Shut Off.
2. With The Scan Tool, Read DTCS.
  Did This DTC Show As Active Or Pending?
  
  Yes
  - Replace The Powertrain Control Module In Accordance With The Service Information.
  - Perform The POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer To POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Test Complete.
  - Perform The POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer To POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
