Arm, Control With ARTICULINK: Installation

NOTE:

DISCARD  the nuts and bolts and do not reuse. NEW  nuts and bolts should be used when replacing or servicing the control arms.

  1. Position the control arm to the axle brackets and frame rail bracket.

  2. Install the control arm to frame bolt (1) and the control arm to frame nut, but do not tighten at this time.
  3. Install the cam bolt, cam, and nut (2) in the axle and align the reference marks, do not tighten at this time.
  4. Install the articulink. Refer to ARTICULINK, INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove jack stand from axle.
  6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  7. Tighten the control arm to axle nut (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, LINK AND COIL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  8. Tighten the control arm to frame nut to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, LINK AND COIL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
